How to qualify
Five routes into five regulated professions, from the regulators’ own pages — and, for three of them, how many people actually got in each year, counted from the register itself because nobody publishes it.

The ones with no route because there is no gate
Will writing, acting as a paid McKenzie friend and giving expert evidence are not reserved activities. There is no qualification to take and no regulator to register with, which is the shortest route in on this page and the one with the least behind it.
What this page is not
It is not careers advice and it is not the regulator. Each page summarises what a regulator publishes and links to it; where the two differ, they are right. Nothing here can admit anybody to anything.
