One of these registers is published under the Open Government Licence and is offered here as a file. The rest are not, and the reason is on this page rather than in a footnote.

Each figure was read from the document named in the row, published by the regulator named. The compilation is this site's; the underlying documents belong to their publishers and are linked rather than redistributed.

Open Government Licence v3.0
Attribution required
Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Source: legislation.gov.uk. Secondary legislation is the most recent per profession rather than all of it; the Acts are complete. Nothing is filtered for relevance -- see /law/ for what each search phrase wrongly catches.

Openly licensed, and still not offered

Certificated enforcement agents — Open Government Licence v3.0

The register itself is openly licensed, and the Open Government Licence does not cover personal data. This edition publishes no practitioner's name, so it offers no file of them either.

Not offered

A download is a copy of the database, and it is the form of re-use that every closed term below addresses most directly. So these are not offered, and each is linked to the regulator who publishes it, which is what somebody wanting the data should have.

RegisterRegulatorPosition
Notaries public Faculty Office Copyright asserted in the whole site; "Any other storage, copying, transmission or distribution of the content of this website is strictly prohibited without the consent of The Faculty Office", and -- unusually -- "Electronic links to this website are not permitted without the consent of The Faculty Office".
Costs lawyers CLSB Only "(c) Copyright CLSB" located; no re-use terms page found. The register itself is served as one open JSON file with no authentication, which is a design decision and not a licence.
Licensed conveyancers CLC "You are welcome to copy excerpts of our information for purposes of review, discussion, academic study and other legitimate pursuits"; "We will vigorously pursue any violation of our copyright that seeks to exploit our material for commercial gain". Nothing on database right or scraping.
Patent and trade mark attorneys IPReg No terms or copyright page located on ipreg.org.uk. The register has per-attorney pages at /register/<id> -- the only one in this set that does. Those pages rank for 0.3% of the attorneys on them: see data/serp_analysis.md, which measured it after an earlier note here inferred from the URLs that IPReg must already rank for its registrants' names.
Regulated immigration advisers IAA No terms located. The portal is a Salesforce Experience Cloud app that renders nothing without JavaScript; the register is reachable through its Aura endpoint, which is a public endpoint rather than a published interface.

If you want one of these as data, ask the regulator. If you are a regulator and would rather this site did not hold your register at all, see sources and licences for how to say so.
